This Partner Policy governs your use of Snipp as a salon or barber business ("Partner"). It applies alongside the Snipp Terms of Service. By listing your business you agree to operate as an independent service provider; Snipp is the technology and discovery platform connecting you with customers, not your employer or agent.
1. Onboarding & verification
To go live you must complete onboarding: set up your services, hours and photos, and submit valid business details for verification — typically your GSTIN (where applicable), a business address proof, and bank account details for payouts. We verify documents and confirm your address before activating your listing and issuing your subdomain storefront at yourname.snipp.
You are responsible for keeping your information accurate. Listing photos must be of your own premises and work; misleading or stock imagery may lead to removal of your listing.
2. Commission & fees
Listing on Snipp is free. We charge a transparent commission only on bookings made through the platform — your live commission rate is shown in your partner dashboard and may vary by service category and city. Walk-ins and repeat customers you bring in yourself outside the platform are never charged a commission.
Commission is calculated on the service value excluding taxes. Any platform convenience fee charged to the customer is separate from your commission and does not reduce your service revenue.
3. GST & invoicing
The partner POS issues GST-compliant invoices for services (salon services are taxed at 5% with no input tax credit). You are responsible for your own tax registration, filings and compliance. Snipp provides downloadable reports of bookings, revenue, commission and taxes to support your filings, but does not file on your behalf.
4. Payouts
Online payments collected through Snipp are settled to your registered bank account on a regular payout cycle — typically T+2 to T+7 working days from service completion — after deducting platform commission and applicable taxes. Every booking, commission deduction, refund and settlement appears as an entry in your ledger so your balance is always reconcilable.
Payouts may be held where a booking is under dispute, where a refund or chargeback is pending, or where verification of your bank details is incomplete. We will notify you of any hold and the reason.
5. Refunds & chargebacks
Where a customer is entitled to a refund under the Cancellation & No-show Policy — for example, a salon-initiated cancellation — the refunded amount and the related commission reversal are reflected in your ledger. Refunds are recorded as new reversal entries against the original transaction; prior entries are never altered.
6. Conduct standards
Partners must honour confirmed bookings, maintain hygiene and safety standards, treat customers and staff with respect, and price services fairly — the price a customer pays through Snipp must match your in-store price for the same service. Discrimination, harassment, off-platform solicitation to avoid commission, and unsafe practices are prohibited.
For at-home services, only verified staff listed on your account may attend appointments, and you must comply with the platform's safety guidelines, including check-in on arrival.
7. Reviews & ratings
Customers who complete a booking may rate and review your salon. Reviews are tied to genuine bookings; you may not incentivise, fabricate or suppress reviews. You can respond to reviews publicly and report any that breach our content guidelines.
8. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or remove a listing for repeated cancellations or no-shows, verified safety or hygiene complaints, fraud, payment disputes, or breaches of this policy. Where appropriate we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may close your listing at any time; any pending payouts are settled after open bookings and disputes are resolved.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes — such as to commission or payout terms — will be communicated in advance through your partner dashboard. Continuing to use Snipp after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
